My introduction to yoga took place, as for so many us, 20 years ago in a gym, with the pumping techno dripping into the room from the fitness area. Despite of the circumstances I immediately experienced that yoga was not just another form of exercise (and trend). The impact on the body, mind and emotional level has since helped me during challenging times: a burn-out, pregnancies and “modern” family life.
My favorite concept is: Beginners Mind.
(Re-)joining with one-self and others, during the practice of asana’s (physical part) and Svadyaya (self-inquiry), defines for me the beauty of yoga. Besides that, the joy of moving in a flow, sometimes inspired by great music, energizes long after the actual practice and always brings a smile on my face.
The desire to deepen my relationship with yoga resulted in joining the teacher training (Vinyasa) in 2015/16 followed by Yin TT later on, both at Yoga-Minds. Since then, I’ve combined yoga teaching with leadership positions at corporate companies as well as a coaching career..
My favorite concept is: Beginners Mind. Always try to approach everyone and everything in life with an open, inquisitive and non-judgmental mindset.
Love to meet you at Yoga Minds.
