Lucilla’s journey with yoga began a decade ago, playing a crucial role in her
recovery from an eating disorder and leading her toward profound healing. She is a
certified instructor in Hatha and Yin yoga, with specialized training in Trauma-
Informed yoga and yoga for eating disorders recovery.
Teaching yoga became a calling that ignited her passion.
Her first teacher training was driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of
yoga beyond poses and breathing exercises. Unexpectedly, it revealed a new
purpose: teaching yoga became a calling that ignited her passion and gave her a
sense of fulfillment she hadn’t anticipated. Sharing the practice became her
vocation and a way to guide others toward the same sense of peace and
connection she had discovered.
Her teaching focuses on the healing power of yoga.
In 2020, Lucilla founded TaNamastè Yoga and Self-Care, an online yoga studio
where she offers private and group yoga classes in English, Italian, and Spanish.
Her teaching focuses on the healing power of yoga, with an emphasis on
accessible practices that foster a healthy mind-body connection..
Lucilla’s classes combine the balance of yin and yang, integrating Hatha and Yin
yoga to offer gentle flows with deep stretches, emphasizing internal awareness
over alignment and encouraging students to feel their bodies and explore
variations with props. Her aim is to create a safe, inclusive space where students
can cultivate mindfulness, stay present, and build a sustainable yoga practice.
