As a registered nurse I’ve witnessed many people struggle with their health, trying to come to terms with illness and searching for a pain free life. I began practicing yoga a few years ago and that decision has taken me on a wonderful journey opening up doors to learn how this ancient practice can be used in these modern times to heal the whole person.
“Heyam dukham anagatam”- prevention is better than cure…. Patanjali Yoga Sutras.
Therapeutic and Restorative yoga brings balance between the mind and body through various yogic practices using the breath, props and stillness designed to release, strengthen, relax and restore. I can’t think of a more fulfilling way for me to continue my passion for healing than through teaching this style of yoga. Increasing the quality of your life is a beautiful gift you can give yourself.
